Reston Home Tour ~ Showcasing Reston's savory style!
Featured Homes, 2007

South Lakes: The Butowsky Home
An architect-owned, lakeside townhome with an amazing interior transformed with the owners' unique ideas and superb craftsmanship. Their kitchen, with its Mondrian-inspired backsplash and a glass aviary cabinet, was featured on the HGTV program, "Look What I Did!". The master suite offers an artistic, zen approach to bathing, and their 40' deck provides 180 degree views of Lake Audubon.

South Lakes: The Ward Home
This spacious townhome juxtaposes a collector's world of antique tramp art, game boards, and beadwork against the bold contemporary architectural lines of the interior. The owners began collecting when they lived overseas, and continued to the level that their tramp art was featured in the book Tramp Art, One Notch at a Time by Clifford Wallach.

Reston Town Center: The Gulick Home
This Midtown penthouse condominium is owned by renowned interior designer, Susan Gulick. The evolution of Reston's urban core offers a new, exciting lifestyle, and Susan's perfect blend of customized textures, finishes, and furnishings are complemented by her marvelous collection of art, not to mention an all-points view of Northern Virginia and beyond.

North Point: The Cooper Home
These original owners have completely renovated and updated their traditional family home from top to bottom and finished it with handsome, classic décor. The recent conversion of the lower level incorporates a custom bar, theater, game area, office and bath. Their wonderful, elegant kitchen is an entertainment magnet when friends and family gather.

North Point: The O'Gorman Home
Expanses of uniquely shaped windows capture views of Lake Newport on the outside. On the inside, the remarkable views continue with this home's unique floor plan, vaulted ceilings, skylights, "blue eyes" and honed granite complementing custom cherry cabinets, walls of glass tile, and fireplaces transformed into works of art.

The O'Gorman Kitchen

Linden Springs
Enjoy an exclusive event during the tour, and the breathtaking property that is Linden Springs. The centerpiece of this outstanding collection of luxury condominium residences is the historic Manor House (c.1896) with a fabulous new kitchen (c.2007) where former White House chef Walter Scheib will demonstrate his culinary skills, offer tastings, entertain with his stories, and sign copies of his book White House Chef - Eleven Years, Two Presidents, One Kitchen. (Until 4 pm only.)

The Wine Cabinet at North Point
4 pm until 6 pm: At the end of the tour, ticket-holders are invited to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and appetizers at The Wine Cabinet at North Point.
