Reston, VA - The Board of Trustees for the Reston Historic Trust announces a
significant donation of 100 copies of the new book, "Reston Town Center: a
Downtown for the 21st Century" to the Reston Museum by KSI Services, Inc. of
Vienna, VA. The book retails for $45.00 per copy, making this a $4,500 value
donation. The books will be sold at the Reston Museum located on Lake Anne
Plaza in Reston. All proceeds will benefit the Reston Museum, its programs
and exhibits.
"Reston Town Center: a Downtown for the 21st Century" tells the story of
Reston Town Center and its four decades of planning and design, featuring
many notable contributors including: Alan Ward, Tom D'Alesandro, Charles
Bohl, Robert Kettler, Philip Langdon, Ray Ritchey, Robert E. Simon, Jr.,
Robert Stern and Tom Vanderbilt. The book highlights the achievements of the
visionaries and talented designers who placed Reston Town Center in the

"Sharing the unfolding story of Reston is important to those of us involved
with its development," said Robert C. Kettler, Founder and Chairman of KSI
Services, Inc. "Through this donation, we show our support of the Reston
Historic Trust and hope it will enable them to continue to preserve and
build awareness of this unique town, which is held as the nations foremost
example of a successful master planned community."
