The Fies Home

Built in 1969, the Fies home on Greenbrier Court is walking distance from Lake Anne. Mark and Mina’s renovated home is an almost complete transformation that not only functions as a home for themselves but also showcases their business Synergy Design and Construction. Appliances are top of the line, and the combination of Cabico and Adelphi cabinetry gives the kitchen a sleek modern look. There is a secondary kitchen in one corner of the room with its own cooktop and sink, so that the Fies can host cooking demonstrations and parties. Across the back of the house, there is a large new stone patio where before there was only ground cover. On the tour, see the bold statement geometry makes in the bathroom as it is unique and different than the typical classic marble look. The office has a special feature: behind two Murphy doors—which provide storage but function as doors—is a meditation space for maximum privacy. Greenbriar Court is a clear testament to the Fies’ creativity and flair for design while emphasizing the elements of their cozy lifestyle.
