Pony Barn
Although today it is one of Reston Association's picnic pavilions, this area was originally a pony barn with a paddock nearby where horses could graze. Horses and their riders were often seen on the nearby pathways in the late 1980's.
The Reston Story discusses the importance of stables and bridle paths "so that the youngster can ride to town and do shopping for mother." A community stable was also built.
