Reston Museum is proud
to announce an exciting collaboration
as we publish Reston's first-ever
baby board book!

Reston Reads is a project is designed to help parents provide their children with a head start to childhood literacy. Literacy starts as soon as a baby is born! Research suggests that future achievement and success in school is highly linked to being able to read as a child. Starting in June 2021, this bilingual (English/Spanish) board book will be provided free to Reston residents with newborns, with initial distribution at Reston Hospital Center. The book will include a supporting pamphlet and bookmark that introduces parents to the importance of reading.
