Founder's Day event celebrates 20 years and Reston celebrates its 60th! Live, Work, Play Bob Simon's Way. Come to Lake Anne Plaza to enjoy community performances, a book fair with 2 dozen local authors and organizations, exhibits, & family-friendly activities.

11 am - 12 pm: Community Cleanup with Volunteer Reston. Meet at Volunteer Reston's table near Bronze Bob. Supplies will be provided. 

11:45 a.m. - 12:30 pm: South Lakes High School Drumline, welcome and celebratory remarks

12 - 4 pm: Performances:

  • Dine lakeside at Kalypso's Sports Tavern, Cafe Montmartre, Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar, Big Wonton, Nordic Knot, Elden Street Tea Shop, or Lake Anne Brew House.
