Women Pioneers of Reston
Women have shaped and influenced Reston in all aspects of life. In March 2018, The Reston Historic Trust & Museum hosted a free public program at RCC Lake Anne, which celebrated the women pioneers of Reston. We are continuing to acknowledge women who have influenced Reston's development between 1961-1975 and 1976 to the present on this webpage. Disclamer: the below is not intended to be a complete list of all of the women who have influenced Reston and all information provided is done to the best of our ability, please notify us if information can be updated concerning the women and their contributions. We hope you enjoy learning more about them.
You can also learn about how early female residents of Reston felt about their new home in this video.
Add to our list of women pioneers of Reston by filling out the form at the bottom of this page and we will update the webpage.
